GENERAL PRINCIPLES UNDERLYING THE FUNCTIONAL PLANNING ORGANISATION OF FOREST PARKBAND AROUND AGGLOMERATIONS AND SETTLEMENT SYSTEMS


The article reviews some modern-day domestic and international experiences in the planning of part forests around agglomerations and settlement systems, in particular trends in spatial functional organisation and regulations concerning the development of a park forest. A theoretical model of a banded planning structure is proposed for the park forest of a large city.
