IVANOVO REGION – THE STARTING POINT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TYPOLOGY OF “KITCHEN FACTORIES” IN THE USSR IN THE 1920-1930s


The article considers the architecture of the first kitchen factory in the USSR and other kitchen factories in Ivanovo region built in the 1920-30s. The author reviews their history, layout and functional features, and the original and current condition of the facades.
