A FUNCTIONAL PLANNING MODEL FOR ARRANGEMENT OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL MUSEUM COMPLEXES


The article is devoted to the arrangement of the functional planning structure of multifunctional museum complexes according to their core profile. Given the functions of a contemporary museum complex, functional groups of rooms have been identified. The author proposes a list of functional groups of rooms by activity and spheres and zones allowing for level of access for the public and availability of collections. Contemporary multifunctional museum complexes are considered as an example of arrangement of a multifunctional museum space.
