KRASNOYARSK MUSEUM OF LOCAL HISTORY – «THE EGYPTIAN TEMPLE» ON THE BANK OF THE YENISEI RIVER


The article is devoted to the history and the architecture of the building of the Krasnoyarsk Museum of Local History constructed in the early 20th century to the design of L.A.Chernyshev. The architect’s references to the "Egyptian" theme are considered in the context general interest in Ancient Egypt in both Western European and Russian culture.
